Local Schedule 2019/2020

Enjoy high quality puppet theatre in a small town atmosphere with Iowa's only professional puppet company!

HAVE AN EXPERIENCE in 2019-2020! Bring a special friend, child or adult, to an Eulenspiegel show!

The 2019-2020 Season includes something for every age and every taste, including a  menu just for adults. See folk tales, fantasy, a brand new show about an election for Leader of the Beasts, and, for the mature generation, a Puppet Slam, Dessert Theatre For Adults, and Puppet Film Shorts, curated by Heather Henson! All ages will enjoy Hunter Marionettes, our guest puppeteer from Minneapolis with two shows, one for families and one for adults. And be sure to attend Eulenspiegel's 45th Birthday Party on the International Day of Puppetry!

Start the season by attending the West Liberty Children's Festival with shows by Eulenspiegel and four guests from four different states; the evening before teens and adults can attend a Puppet Slam! Beat the winter blahs by attending a family show during winter break. Join your friends and neighbors at a day-long birthday party with shows, films, and birthday cake for Eulenspiegel's 45th birthday!

Again this year: three "Maker Breaks" for adults and teens! A chance to sit down with friends, old and new, and create something fun with your hands while sipping wine or other beverages and nibbling on snacks.

All events take place in downtown West Liberty, a hopping little town with lots of restaurants and a lovely 1910 vintage opera house.

Summer Neighborhood Tour 2019!
