Lantern Puppet Workshop
A FREE and FUN weekend art workshop for all ages!

Join us at Owl Glass Puppetry Center for a weekend workshop creating lanterns and puppets lit from within! Brant Bollman of Uplifting Puppets in Oskaloosa, Iowa, will lead the workshop. Bollman specializes in creating and performing with giant parade puppets. He learned the craft of creating lantern puppets from internationally known puppet artist Andrew Kim.
The workshops are free and open to the public. You may attend any or all three days and make your own creation or help with the group project. We will construct a giant sun and other celestial bodies (moon, stars, planets). Imagine the lantern depicted with a multitude of stars!
We'll parade them on the evening of the Solstice (see below)!
