In addition to our busy life of touring puppet shows all over the world, we are proud to work in our own local community of West Liberty, Iowa, to share our gifts with friends and neighbors.
Lantern Puppet Workshops & Solstice Celebration
Workshops Thursday and Friday, December 19 and 20, 5:00-7:00 p. m. Solstice Parade Saturday, December 21st 5:00
Join us at Owl Glass Puppetry Center for workshop evenings creating magical lanterns and puppets lit from within!
The workshops are free and open to the public.

Dr. Germington Saves The Day!
Good habits start young! Dr. Germington is here to encourage children to wash their hands, brush their teeth, and be more mindful of the viruses and bacteria around us.
Puppets and Pastries: Dessert Theatre for Adults
Eulenspiegel Puppet Theatre presents its twenty-fourth annual Puppets and Pastries: Dessert Theatre For Adults, Friday, Feb. 14 and Saturday, Feb. 15, 7:00 PM. Here’s an opportunity for lovers of puppet theatre to see cutting edge puppetry directed towards adults while listening to music and savoring delectable desserts, including the Acapulco Bakery’s famous “tres leches” cake.

Spring Break Show
Nacho and Yoyo’s Escapades, a bilingual English/Spanish show, takes elements of Iowa City’s barrio history mixed with large doses of fantasy to create an original story detailing the adventures of a chihuahua and an escaped circus monkey.

Magical Fish and Mermaids
The Fisherman and his Wife is the ancient Grimm’s Fairy Tale of the magical fish who grants wishes until the beneficiaries become too greedy and too hungry for power.

New Puppeteers Festival
Orientation and Information Meeting Saturday 11/16 at 2:00 PM
THE NEW PUPPETEERS FESTIVAL is an opportunity for YOU to develop your own puppet show! Eulenspiegel puppeteers will help with all of your needs! This program is open to anyone who is young to the art of puppetry (kids and adults).

With shows that connect to the Iowa Core, include study guides, and take place in West Liberty's charming downtown park, our beautiful 1910 opera house, or Owl Glass Puppetry Center's intimate environment, these events are perfect for grades K-5.
